Lyrical Games and One More Level (the Ghostrunner studio) shared a story trailer for first-person action-roguelike Valor Mortis. It is set in an alternate 19th-century Europe, and the gameplay "combines realism with the supernatural." You play William, a soldier of the Grande Armée, fighting monsters with swords, bayonets, and magic. PC, PS5, and Xbox Series on 13 October. Demo on Steam.
A new gameplay trailer is out for atmospheric off-road driving sim Over The Hill, co-op for up to four. Funselektor Labs and Strelka Games have you driving iconic 1960s–80s 4x4s across scenic, punishing trails. PC on 14 October, consoles in 2027.
Templar Media released a trailer for adventure-action Gate Zero, showing the combat system. It is set in ancient Israel and lets you walk through history and biblical events. Commenters are calling it Biblical Creed. PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, spring 2027.
A new gameplay trailer is out for fast cyberpunk action game Quantic River. Katana combat, cybernetic upgrades, cutting through the environment, hacking obstacles, and two-layer levels built for speedrunners and explorers. No PC date yet.
Geo Seed Games shared new gameplay for creature-collecting RPG Never Wither. Collect and raise fantastical creatures, then send them to farm, build, and craft. Found a settlement in a fantasy open world and become the last hope against the blight. PC, no date.
Randwerk set a PC early access date for minimalist medieval roguelike Wanderburg: 8 September. Mobile fortresses roam the land and swallow everything in their path. Roll forward, defeat enemy castles, evolve. Demo available.
Magic Fuel Games released a new trailer with a date for strategy-management game Star Trek: Outposts Unknown, about building outposts on a distant planet. PC on 20 October. Lead your crew through strange new worlds: explore, travel, build, and face a mysterious space force that threatens a new ally.
Hardcore survival RPG Scavland got a PC early access date: 4 September. A "16-bit Stalker" set in a post-apocalyptic Soviet world. Explore wastelands and bunkers, take dangerous jobs, earn reputation, and kit out your arsenal against mutants, radiation, and hostile survivors.
Adventure puzzle Caterva: Outsider Dreams is announced. Everyone in the village dreamed the same nightmare. Everyone except you. Switch between four channels to change the world around you. Explore a colossal space station lost in time, use ancient mechanisms, find secret paths, and reconstruct a ruined history from the traces of a civilization that tried to outrun the inevitable. A new character, shortcut, puzzle, or answer can wait around every corner. PC, no date.
Stability Games shared a new first-person puzzle gameplay trailer for Dreampainters. You play Ray, an artist who needs work and finds a job posting from mysterious Neurem Labs about researching human creativity. Solve puzzles and uncover the lab's secrets using different colors. Solo or with a friend. 2027 on PC.
Magical tower-defense roguelike Petricor: Tower Defense is announced. You are watching the shop owner's cat. An evil necromancer has other plans. Summon living statues to defend the shop and unlock powerful spells for destructive combos. PC early access sometime this year.
North Beach Games announced a sequel to open-world survival sandbox Stranded Deep. The new game drops you in a beautiful, dangerous desert cut by an endless river. Every tool, every discovery, every step into unknown land is the result of your fight to survive and a measure of how far you got. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes that survival is not the end of the story. No PC date yet.
A new gameplay trailer is out for survival horror shooter BLIGHTEN. An abandoned facility, overrun by mindless creatures infected with the Blight. Gather resources and do whatever it takes to survive an industrial hell with no way out. PC, no date, demo available.
Studio Yeoun announced adventure-action Mihira: The Eternal Arc. In a palace where time has fractured, the heroine awakens a hidden power tied to time itself. When past and present collide, she has to move between shifting realities, face powerful forces, and choose between rewriting fate and accepting the truth of her timeline.
The team behind Cyclopean II: The Dreamlands shared a new trailer for the RPG. It takes you into the grim fantasy world of Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath and the rest of the Dream Cycle. Demo on Steam.
Co-op adventure for two with RC cars, WheelMates from Firevolt, is out. Explore a huge house belonging to a missing scientist, upgrade your vehicle with gadgets like a harpoon or magnetic wheels, solve obstacle puzzles, and play minigames. Same-screen or online. Buy one copy and the second player is free via Friend's Pass. Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch next year.
Co-op shooter Serious Sam: Shatterverse is out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Behaviour Interactive plays the multiverse, packing different versions of Sam into one game. Besides a large arsenal, they are adding a roguelike pick: choose one of several offered bonuses as you progress through levels. Mixed reviews on Steam (46% of 254 positive).
Fast action-platformer Divinum from solo developer Sigil Games is out on PC. Flashy combo combat and a world full of secrets and challenges. Very Positive on Steam (83% of 297).
Platform fighter with online PvP for 1–8 players where attacks are voice-controlled, Smack Talk, is out on PC. Fight on unique arenas and try to knock others off by shouting phrases into your mic. Overwhelmingly Positive (96% of 828).
Action-roguelike Garden of Witches is fully out. You, the Witch of Threads, need to gather every witch for the annual tea ritual. They are unlikely to come willingly. Fight different bosses, each with their own personality, abilities, and attack style. Team Tapas. Very Positive (92% of 1614).
Twisted Corridor launched co-op horror the cabin game in PC early access. A group of 1–4 players is locked in a cabin. The only way out is to play the game. Use the cards you draw to find clues hidden around the house. Be careful: the cards you play can change the rooms around you. Very Positive (83% of 156).
Side-scrolling action shooter Last Breath from two-person studio HP⁺ DOG is out on PC. As older sister Guan Jin, you push through the ruins of a world emptied by fungus, looking for your lost younger sister. Search, adapt, survive. Mostly Positive (78% of 292). Demo available.
Vampire Survivors DLC Legacy of the Bloodmoon is out, adding new characters, weapons, music tracks, and an XL arena. Very Positive (97% of 239).
Business sim Big Ambitions is out on PC. Go from a small apartment and bus rides to the biggest businessman in New York, growing small companies or slowly building huge corporations. Very Positive (92% of 13298).
Survival horror Inferno Protocol is in PC early access. Solo or co-op up to six. Set in a maze that does not stay still. There is no map you can trust. Gather resources, craft gear, mark walls, and fight off horrible creatures. Mostly Positive (73% of 86). Demo available.
Voxel sandbox Allumeria is in PC early access. Deep progression through exploration, dungeons, and boss fights, with a focus on discovery and creative freedom. You keep finding new weapons, abilities, resources, enemies, buildings, mechanics, and tools. Very Positive (93% of 261).
2000s mobile action-RPG ZENONIA 1 is out on PC, keeping the depth and spirit of the original. Very Positive on Steam (90% of 120). Demo available.
Turn-based tactical open-world RPG The Adventurers is out on PC. A dense fantasy world inspired by classic tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons. Lead a ragtag party through a shifting world, take jobs, fight mythical creatures, and make a name. Very Positive (87% of 109). Demo available.
